Young Adults

Mission: To provide a ministry targeting catholic individuals and couples in an age group consisting of young adults normally between the ages of 21-39. The ministry would provide a social atmosphere to foster participation in other ministries in the church and service projects for the church and community.

The group will consist of a core group consisting of approximately 6 adults to plan social events and service projects.

The Young Adults Group will communicate through Bulletin Postings and the Church Web page.

It is understood that the group is made up of Young Adults with new careers and families that demand a large amount of their time. The vision of this group is to assist the ministries of St. Marks by filling voids. The Group will act similar to a staffing agency for the other ministries currently active at St. Marks during large projects. This will give young adults the ability to serve without the often times assumed obligation of being a full member of that ministry.

The Group will meet one Saturday a Month for Mass and a social activity.
